Roger Federer: Wimbledon Winner for the Eighth Time!

Roger Federer, brand ambassador of Credit Suisse, is the first male eight-time winner of Wimbledon, the oldest and most prestigious tennis tournament in the world.

The triumph at Wimbledon is Roger's 19th Grand Slam title. This, too, is a record. In second place on the all-time best list is Rafael Nadal, with 15 wins in the majors.

After a four-year lean patch without a Grand Slam title and an injury break last year, Federer has once again demonstrated his class by winning Wimbledon. The Swiss player thus moves ahead of Pete Sampras and William Renshaw, with whom he had so far been level with seven Wimbledon victories. He had already emerged victorious on the hallowed turf of Wimbledon between 2003 and 2007, in 2009, and in 2012.

Roger Federer has thus completed one of the most remarkable comebacks in tennis history.

Roger is back! We would like to congratulate our brand ambassador on this extraordinary achievement.
