Publication of restated historical financial information

Credit Suisse today published its historical financial information, which has been restated to reflect the new divisional reporting structure and management responsibilities announced on July 30, 2020.

On July 30, 2020, Credit Suisse Group announced key initiatives to reinforce its strategy and a series of structural changes including the creation of one global Investment Bank and the integration of International Trading Solutions and APAC Solutions into Global Trading Solutions, to provide a unified engine to intermediate between our Wealth Management divisions and our Investment Bank; the combination of our Risk and Compliance functions; and the launch of our Sustainability, Research & Investment Solutions function.

Beginning with Credit Suisse’s 3Q20 results, scheduled to be released on October 29, 2020, Credit Suisse’s financial reporting will be presented as four reporting segments, our three regionally focused divisions – Swiss Universal Bank, International Wealth Management and Asia Pacific – and our Investment Bank as well as the Corporate Center.

The restated historical information also reflects an updated approach to the calculation of Return on Regulatory Capital both at the Group and the divisional level. The changes do not impact any other performance measures in the consolidated results of Credit Suisse at the Group level.

A spreadsheet providing the restated historical financial information for the first and second quarter of 2020, all quarters of 2018 and 2019, and the full years of 2016 and 2017 as well as a presentation which will be referred to on this morning’s 08.30am CEST analyst call are available to download from 07.00am CEST today at: www.credit-suisse.com.
