Credit Suisse appoints Nita Patel as Chief Compliance Officer

Credit Suisse Group today announced the appointment of Nita Patel as Chief Compliance Officer. She will join the Executive Board, effective November 1, 2022, reporting directly to Group Chief Executive Officer Ulrich Körner. Nita Patel succeeds Rafael Lopez Lorenzo, who has decided to step down for family reasons.

Nita Patel most recently served as Chief Compliance Officer of the Asset Management division as well as the UK Investment Bank. She was also a member of various key Business and Compliance committees. In 2021, Nita Patel joined Credit Suisse from Goldman Sachs, where she spent 18 years in various senior Compliance roles across the Asset Management and Markets divisions. She holds a Master’s degree in Finance and Investment from Brunel University in London.

Rafael Lopez Lorenzo will be appointed non-executive member of the Board of Credit Suisse Bank (Europe), S.A. (CSEB) in Spain, subject to regulatory approval.
