Two Golds for Credit Suisse Publications

Two Credit Suisse magazines, Global Investor and bulletin, have achieved success in the BCP Awards for 2011 (Best of Corporate Publishing). A total of 633 publications from Germany, Austria and Switzerland took part in Europe's biggest corporate publishing awards contest.

The jury of the Best of Corporate Publishing Awards concluded that Global Investor was "A high-caliber magazine for an exclusive target group: First-class journalism with a timeless design for Credit Suisse's investment clients." This was "an investment crowned with the enduring value of a precious metal," the jury said. Having won silver five times in succession, Global Investor picked up gold for the first time in the B2B financial services/real estate/consulting category. Global Investor also won silver in the Best Crossmedia Solution category.

According to the BCP jury, bulletin, the world's oldest banking magazine is "a particularly courageous magazine." In the B2C finance and insurance category, the publication won its seventh overall medal, its second gold medal since 2007. The jury praised the editorial department's courage to focus on overarching themes, to adopt an unconventional approach to titles, introductions, and text lengths, and also its courage in terms of outstanding photography. bulletin was first published in 1895, and currently has a print run of 165,000 copies in four languages. bulletin also picked up a second award: Silver in the CP Excellence (feature articles) category.
