Credit Suisse Asset Management appoints Matthew Booker to the Small Companies Investment Team

Credit Suisse Asset Management (CSAM) today announced the appointment of Matthew Booker to the Small Companies Investment Team.

Mr Booker, who joins as Vice President and Investment Manager, will report directly to Andrew Fleming, Head of Australian Equities.

Mr Booker joins Credit Suisse Asset Management from Deutsche Bank where he was the Head of Small Company Research Sales, having previously grown the Hedge Fund sales business to a strong market position. Prior to that, he was a member of and led Merrill Lynch's top rating Insurance and Diversified Financial Research Teams. Matthew holds a BEc, Actuarial Studies from Macquarie University and is an Associate of the Institute of Actuaries and an Associate of the Securities Institute of Australia.
