Credit Suisse Asset Management appoints Duncan Avery as Global Head of Information Technology

Credit Suisse Asset Management (CSAM) announced today that it has named Duncan Avery as Global Head of Information Technology.

Mr Avery, who joins as a Managing Director, will report directly to Lawrence Haber, CSAM's Chief Financial Officer, and will be based in London.

Mr Avery comes to CSAM from Morley Fund Management where he was Global Information Technology Director, responsible for defining and implementing their IT strategy, introducing governance and discipline to the IT function and for managing and delivering IT projects. Prior to that, he was Director of Operations & IT for EMEA at Citigroup. He has also worked at HSBC Asset Management.

"With Duncan's strong background in asset management Information Technology, he will play an important role in ensuring that we fully leverage our global technology platform," Mr Haber said. "His experience will serve us well as we pursue our objective of delivering superior investment performance to our clients."
