The Credit Suisse logo symbolizes the transformation of the bank into an integrated financial services company with operations spanning the globe.
Since January 2006, we have been pursuing our strategy as an integrated, global bank. To this end, the three divisions Investment Banking, Private Banking, and Asset Management were brought together under a single roof. This organizational restructuring also gave rise to a new logo, created by blending elements from the former Credit Suisse and First Boston logos.
The design of the new logo captures the spirit of Credit Suisse. The typeface reaffirms the discretion and prestige associated with our long history. The sail-like symbol echoes the pioneering spirit of the whole firm and the heritage of our business.
History of the Logo
Credit Suisse has been providing financial services, developing expertise, and employing motivated and highly qualified staff ever since 1856. The logo has evolved throughout the company's long history to compliment the constant growth of the three financial divisions, the founding of new branches and the various mergers and acquisitions that take place.
