Each client may choose a global custodian such as Credit Suisse or another eminent financial institution to take custody of assets in the account for safekeeping purposes.
Offshore custody provides an additional layer of jurisdictional diversification against financial and event risk, and can also offer enhanced privacy protection of assets.
