Plusport Day in Magglingen

Plusport Day - which is held in Magglingen each year - is the headline event staged by Plusport, the Swiss organization for disabled sports. Supported by their coaches and families, around 1,500 people with mental or physical disabilities from across Switzerland prepare for this event with great dedication. Plusport Day offers them a unique opportunity to rate their performance in over 25 different disciplines - from swimming, high jump and long jump to tennis and a fitness trail for the severely disabled. It also enables them to come together with non-disabled participants in an immensely popular festival of sport. The next Plusport Day will take place on July 6, 2008. The Credit Suisse Jubilee Foundation has been supporting this event since 2001.

The Jubilee Foundation supports not only Plusport but also a large number of other selected social welfare schemes each year.
