Social Commitments in the Americas
Through the Credit Suisse Americas Foundation support is provided to local communities through charitable and volunteer activities and is focused on ways that leverage contributions to have the greatest possible impact on the community.
Overview
The Credit Suisse Americas Foundation is dedicated to making a difference through a focus on volunteerism and education advancement. The hands-on involvement of our employees matched with the needs of our partner organizations drives our financial support, while our desire to increase opportunities for young people fuels our investment in education initiatives that develop strong teachers and school leaders.
Throughout the Americas, we help employees lend more of their time and talent to the causes they care about and we work strategically with departments and locations to devise projects with authentic needs to impact the local community.
In addition to supporting organizations where employees volunteer, charitable support is also focused advancing education - as we believe that a person’s education determines their future economic circumstance. Our education funding is made in areas where we have the greatest ability to impact student achievement - within the schools and in the teachers and principals leading these schools.
