Culture
e.g. fostering young talent, restoration of architectural objects worthy of protection, acquisition of objects of lasting value for public institutions (collections, museum exhibits, libraries)
Social welfare
e.g. funding for institutions geared towards improving the quality of life enjoyed by people with disabilities or underprivileged people, for homes for people with disabilities, for trans-regional events
When selecting projects to receive funding, the main criteria applied are quality and lasting impact. In granting financial support the Foundation focuses on projects in Switzerland.
In what areas does the Credit Suisse Jubilee Foundation not grant support?
- Exhibitions, congresses, conferences
- Concerts and productions of theatre, dance, musicals
- Film, video, CD productions
- Book publications (incl. dissertations, theses or commemorative publications)
- Work placements and training courses (scholarships)
- Running costs, deficit funding
- Matters for which the public sector is responsible

- Financing plan including information on internal funding
- Basic information on the applicant
- Annual report / annual financial statement

- Funding awards: once a year, usually in spring
