Global Initiatives

As part of its pledge to corporate citizenship, in 2007 Credit Suisse launched four Global Initiatives through the Credit Suisse Foundation to make investments in the areas of education, microfinance, humanitarian aid and the environment. In addition we are expanding our existing employee volunteer program. The Global Initiatives allow for increased investments in areas where Credit Suisse has experience and represent opportunities to further practice our corporate values.

  • Education for 45,000 Students

In partnership with several international educational charities, Credit Suisse will provide 45,000 disadvantaged students, one for every employee, from primary and secondary schools with access to quality education.
