Focus Themes

Together with our employees we work with selected partner organizations to help strengthen our society and to address social issues. As part of our social commitment we set three focus themes: education, microfinance and employee engagement.

Education

The Credit Suisse Global Education Initiative supports selected international non-profit organizations with the aim of improving access to education and the quality of educational opportunities for thousands of children and young people.

Microfinance

The Microfinance Capacity Building Initiative aims to contribute to the strengthening of microfinance institutions and to the training of thousands of microfinance staff around the world to facilitate access to financial services for the base of the pyramid.

Employee Engagement

Many of our employees volunteer their time and expertise to help good causes and to add value to our financial contributions. Our volunteering programs promote the transfer of skills and knowledge between our people and social organizations.
