Wolfsberg Group

Credit Suisse adheres at all its locations to the strict Swiss regulations for the prevention of money laundering and the financing of terrorism. We are therefore working together with other banks in the Wolfsberg Group to further develop industry-wide standards.

The "Wolfsberg Statement against Corruption“ was issued in 2007. In this way, financial services companies are supporting international efforts to combat corruption and defining measures to prevent fraudulent activities in their own business operations and the misuse of their services.

Focus on the Financing of Terrorism

The Wolfsberg Group also works on preventing the financing of terrorism. In the "Wolfsberg Statement on The Suppression of the Financing of Terrorism", the Group recommends specific measures to prevent the banking system being used for the financing of terrorist activities. Coordinated collaboration between governments and financial institutions is also crucial.
