Le Credit Suisse Group enregistre un bénéfice net de 2,4 milliards de francs au 3T09 et un rendement des fonds propres de 25,1%
Le Credit Suisse Group a enregistré un bénéfice net distribuable aux actionnaires de 2354 millions de francs au 3T09, contre 1571 millions de francs au 2T09. Les produits nets (résultats de base) se sont élevés à 8917 millions de francs au 3T09, contre 8610 millions de francs au 2T09. Le rendement des fonds propres distribuable aux actionnaires s'est établi à 25,1% au 3T09 et le bénéfice net dilué par action à 1.81 franc. Le ratio des fonds propres de base a atteint 16,4% à la fin du 3T09.

2009-11-04 La prévoyance professionnelle en Suisse est dépendante du marché financier qui, en dépit de sa volatilité, apporte à long terme une importante contribution au capital de vieillesse. Par conséquent, les caisses de pension considèrent qu'un comportement de placement adapté et orienté sur le long terme est décisif afin de surmonter les turbulences sur les marchés financiers et les fluctuations des taux de couverture. La toute dernière étude menée par les économistes du Credit Suisse s'est penchée sur le comportement de placement des caisses de pension suisses, et a révélé que le taux de couverture si souvent au cœur des discussions politiques influence dans une large mesure les stratégies de placement des caisses de pension. Elle conclut également que les caisses de pension investissent en général assez efficacement leur capital de prévoyance. Mais il subsiste un certain potentiel d'amélioration en ce qui concerne l'allocation des placements, l'éventail existant des diversifications pourrait être en effet mieux utilisé. L'étude démontre également sur la base de modèles de calcul quel impact les changements en termes d’espérance de vie et d’attentes de rendement ont sur le montant du taux de conversion.

Economic expectations continue to brighten up
2009-10-15 According to the Financial Market Test Switzerland, carried out by Credit Suisse in cooperation with the Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW), economic expectations continued to improve in October. The relevant Credit Suisse ZEW indicator increased by 7 points month-on-month, reaching the 65 mark. The assessment of the current economic situation also improved by 7 points – albeit still hovering at a low level – and the corresponding balance now stands at -55. The overriding majority (87.5%) of survey participants still expect short-term interest rates to hold steady. Inflation expectations edged up just slightly in October, with a 35.9% share of the financial market experts anticipating higher prices on a six-month horizon. At the same time, most (59%) of the respondents forecast no change in terms of inflation for this period.
