Global Finance	World's Best Trade Finance Bank 2004	Credit Suisse was awarded the title "Best Trade Finance Bank in Switzerland" in 2004 for the fourth time in a row. The magazine "Global Finance" in New York awards this title annually to the best trade finance banks and financial service providers in the world.
Global Finance	Best-Sub-Custodians-2004	Credit Suisse was named "Best Sub-Custodian Bank in Switzerland" in 2004. This title is awarded annually by the magazine "Global Finance" in New York to the world's best sub-custodians.
Netzwoche Simsa	Best of Swiss Web 2004	The "Best of Swiss Web Award" is the "Swiss Oscar" and is a prestigious prize for e-business and internet solutions in Switzerland. There were wins in the "Integration" and "Efficiency" categories with the "Direct Trade Finance" web application.
Euromoney	Best Private Bank Award 2004	The British financial magazine "Euromoney" has been presenting its "Awards for Excellence" since 2000. 2004 was no exception, and Credit Suisse was named the "Best Private Bank in Switzerland". Credit Suisse also had an outstanding performance in various special areas. For example, it won gold as the world's best bank for hedge fund investments, for inheritance advice and for private equity investments.
Bilanz Atkearney	Extraordinarily Innovative Swiss Company	The consulting firm A.T. Kearney staged the second edition of the "Best Innovator" competition together with the Swiss economic magazine "Bilanz" in 2004. Credit Suisse was named an "Extraordinarily Innovative Swiss Company" in this competition.
Bilanz Atkearney	Seal of Approval for Innovativeness	"Bilanz" and A.T. Kearney actually presented Credit Suisse with two awards in 2004, as InvestNet won the "Seal of Approval for Innovativeness".
CLS		Credit Suisse celebrated the successful processing of its 10,000th payment transaction in April 2004. The Chairman of the Board of Directors of CLS, Fritz Klein, a former Credit Suisse employee, and CEO of CLS Group, Joseph De Feo, attended the small party organized to commend all those in the Operations, IT and TSS areas who contributed to this outstanding result.
Netzwoche Simsa	Best of Swiss Web efficiency Winner 2004	The "Best of Swiss Web Association" presents the Swiss award for internet and e-business together with "simsa" and "netzwoche". Direct Trade Finance came out top in the "Technology Integration" and "Business Efficiency" categories in 2004.
