Global Finance	Best Trade Finance Bank in Switzerland	Credit Suisse was awarded the title "Best Trade Finance Bank in Switzerland" in 2001. The magazine "Global Finance" in New York awards this title annually to the world's best trade finance banks and financial service providers.
Banking Technology	European Banking Technology Award	Taking part in the "European Banking Technology Award" competition for the first time, the Private Banking department of Credit Suisse won the prize for "Best Use of IT in the Banking Sector" in 2001 for its new relationship management portal FrontNet. The "European Banking Technology Awards" are presented annually by the magazine "banking technology" in London in recognition of outstanding, innovative achievements in the field of banking applications.
