Third-Quarter 2006 Results
Credit Suisse Group reports net income of CHF 6.7 billion for the first nine months of 2006 and net income of CHF 1.9 billion for the third quarter
Credit Suisse Group today reported net income of CHF 1,892 million for the third quarter of 2006, compared to net income of CHF 1,918 million in the third quarter of 2005. Basic earnings per share improved to CHF 1.74 for the quarter, compared to CHF 1.67 in the third quarter of 2005. For the first nine months of 2006, the Group's net income was CHF 6,654 million, compared to net income of CHF 4,747 million in the corresponding period of 2005. Net new assets totaled CHF 31.0 billion in the third quarter of 2006.
