Send orders to AES from the system you already use everyday. AES can be integrated into any FIX enabled trading platform, including Credit Suisse's PrimeTrade.

The tactics for AES FX:

How fast do you want to trade? Trend risk may arise from going too slowly, but adverse market impact could arise from being too aggressive and signalling your intentions.

POSITIVE TREND -

If price trend is ranging or favourable and you want to force your trade to run until a specified end time use TWAP.

PRICE RANGING -

If you want to go with the flow but are unwilling to show your whole order use RESERVE to drip your order into the markets. If you want to peg your clips to the bid or offer as it moves so you have a greater chance of completing and get good queue priority use FLOAT.

NEGATIVE TREND -

If signalling risk is a concern, use SNIPER or GUERRILLA. GUERRILLA will grab all the volume at price levels within your range when it sees those levels established. SNIPER is even more aggressive and will grab any liquidity within your price range as soon as it appears. Unlike SNIPER GUERRILLA will not hold the market, nor will it initiate trading at new price levels. Neither SNIPER nor GUERRILLA will show any of your order in the market.
