William Brady

Bill Brady is a Managing Director of Credit Suisse and Co-Chairman of the Global Technology group, based in Palo Alto. Prior to his current role, he was Co-Head of Global Technology Banking for Credit Suisse First Boston.
Mr. Brady has nineteen years of investment banking experience, including nine years at Morgan Stanley, where he was Vice President and Head of the firm's West Coast Technology Investment Banking Group, which he helped build from an emerging business into the largest industry group at the firm.
Prior to joining Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB), Mr. Brady was a Managing Director at Deutsche Bank where he was a founder and Head of the DMG Global Technology Corporate Finance Department.
Mr. Brady has worked as a financial strategic advisor to leading companies in the technology industry through many dramatic evolutions over the past nineteen years and he has advised on hundreds of IPOs, common stock and convertible offerings, private placements and merger and acquisition transactions for technology companies including 3Com, Adobe, Advent Software, Amazon.com, Ascend Communications, Aspect Telecommunications, Baidu.com, Bay Networks, BEA Systems, Cambridge Silicon Radio, E*Trade, E.piphany, Freeserve, Google, i2 Technologies, IBM, Instinet, Interwoven, Intuit, Juniper Networks, Liberate, Micromuse, MMC Networks, MP3.com, Openwave, Oracle, Peoplesoft, PureAtria, SAP, Silicon Graphics, Synopsys, Synoptics, TiVo, Verifone, WebTV, Yahoo, and Xilinx.
Mr. Brady serves on the Board of Directors of the Schools Mentoring and Resource Team (SMART), whose mission is to ensure that talented and motivated middle school students have access to a high quality of education regardless of their families' financial status. He is a 1987 graduate of Princeton University.
