Marcel Kreis
Managing Director, Chairman Private Banking Asia Pacific |
Marcel Kreis is Chairman of Private Banking Asia Pacific effective January 2012. He is responsible for key clients coverage, mentoring and developing senior talent and driving inorganic growth opportunities in our region.
Mr. Kreis joined Credit Suisse in February 2007 as Head of Private Banking Asia Pacific. Prior to joining Credit Suisse, he was the Head of Global Wealth Management in South East Asia and the Pacific, including Australia and Japan domestic at UBS.
Mr. Kreis has 30 years of experience in the field of private banking in Asia, starting at Citibank and then at Merrill Lynch, before joining Swiss Bank Corporation (later UBS) in 1990, where he held various management positions. He has worked in Hong Kong, Singapore, Melbourne and Sydney.
Mr. Kreis was awarded “Outstanding Private Banker – Asia Pacific” at the 19th Private Banker International Wealth Summit held in Singapore, as well as a distinguished Financial Industry Certified Professionals (FICP) title for “Wealth Management-High Net Worth” by the Institute of Banking & Finance (IBF) in Singapore. He is a graduate from the University of Freiburg, Switzerland, and also holds a Master of Comparative Law from Southern Methodist University, Dallas, USA.

Francesco de Ferrari

Francesco de Ferrari is Managing Director and Head of Private Banking Asia Pacific for Credit Suisse, based in Singapore.
Mr. de Ferrari joined Credit Suisse in 2002. Before taking on his present role in 2012, he was Chief Executive Officer of Credit Suisse Private Banking in Italy. Prior to that, he was Chief Operating Officer for Private Banking Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region in Zurich and country Chief Operating Officer in Italy.
Mr. de Ferrari started his professional career in 1990 and has worked in a number of leading companies such as Deloitte & Touche, Nestlé and McKinsey. Prior to joining Credit Suisse, he founded and led three different entrepreneurial ventures.
Mr. de Ferrari holds a degree in Economics and International Business from the NYU Stern School of business and an MBA from INSEAD. He is married and has five children.

Tee Fong Seng
Vice Chairman and Head of Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW), Private Banking Asia Pacific |
Tee Fong Seng joined Credit Suisse as Vice Chairman and Head of Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) of Private Banking Asia Pacific, effective August 1, 2009, based in Singapore.
Mr. Tee provides important support to the strategic direction and oversight of Credit Suisse’s Private Banking business and its market and segment initiatives in the region. He is also responsible for the strategy and business development of the important UHNW segment in Asia Pacific, driving the creation of an integrated client value proposition and a differentiated experience spanning investment solutions and family advisory services.
Mr. Tee was most recently the Head of Wealth Management South East Asia and Deputy Branch Manager, UBS Singapore. Mr. Tee brings with him more than 30 years of global banking experience across a wide spectrum of responsibilities and management positions.
He sits on the Financial Industry Competency Standards (FICS) Steering Committee of the Institute of Banking and Finance in Singapore as well as chairs the FICS Wealth Management Working Group. He also chairs the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) Private Banking Advisory Group Working Committee which has a specific focus on establishing the Competency standards for Singapore’s private banking industry.
Mr. Tee is a Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA, London) and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from National University of Singapore.
