Hans Ulrich Doerig is Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Risk Committee (full time assignment since April 2003). He was Vice-Chairman of the Group Executive Board and Chief Risk Officer from 1998 until 2003. His term as a member of the Board expires at the AGM in 2009. The Board has determined him to be independent under the Group's independence standards.
Education and academic experience
Studies at St. Gallen University (HSG) in Switzerland. Degrees in Economics (doctorate) and Law; Research Associate. Lecturer at the University of Zurich and the Swiss Banking School for over 10 years.
