Use of Data
The information you submit in your application will be processed for recruitment purposes. Credit Suisse will, however, treat your information in accordance with this Privacy Statement anywhere in the world that it is received, and will take reasonable steps to set up adequate privacy safeguards to protect your data. However under no circumstances will the information you provide to us be used for purposes other than this application process or released to any third party except to perform functions on our behalf (such as sending you e-mail from us) or pursuant to a court order or legal directive. By submitting their details to Credit Suisse, applicants agree that said data may be stored and processed by Credit Suisse within their chosen labour market, and where appropriate, forwarded to another member of Credit Suisse Group, placed in an application pool and passed on to selected line managers. Depending on the labour market, the data in question may be seen across national boundaries and in countries where data protection legislation is less stringent than in the country from which the applicant transmits the data.
You confirm that all information you submit during the application process, including this application, will be true, accurate, complete and not misleading. We may at a later stage in the recruitment process carry out a verification of information provided in your application. You understand that any false or misleading statements or omissions made by you during the application process, including this application, will be sufficient cause to justify the rejection of your application or, if you have already become an employee, the termination of your employment.
In the event that you are invited to attend a testing session or interview and assessment day, all assessment data will be retained by Credit Suisse in accordance with the Bank's data protection policy. You acknowledge and agree that if your application is successful we will use your information for personnel administration and management purposes, including carrying out appropriate security and verification checks.
In the event that your application is unsuccessful the information you submit in your application may be retained (for recruitment purposes) by Credit Suisse in accordance with existing practice and will be referred to in the event that you make a later application. You explicitly consent to us in accordance with our privacy policy retaining and processing your personal data, which may be contained in the application form or subsequently collected. In addition (in the event your application is unsuccessful) we may attempt to contact you via the e-mail address or the telephone number you provide in the event that a subsequent vacancy becomes available which we consider you may be suitable for. If you do not want us to contact you in this way or no longer wish us to retain your details then please contact us at the address of the Credit Suisse office in your relevant jurisdiction.
Not receiving an answer to your request in a three week period from Credit Suisse will mean that there is no vacancy that matches your profile in such moment.
