Requirements
Get an overview of the contractual and technical requirements for using Forex Trading.
The following requirements must be met before using Forex Trading. The bank reserves the right to decline applications under certain circumstances.
General Requirements
- Business relationship with Credit Suisse
- Account for each currency traded
- Pre-determined trading limit
- Framework agreement for OTC forex transactions or an ISDA agreement
- Request to use Forex Trading confirmed by the bank
Technical Requirements
Your technical infrastructure should meet certain minimum requirements:
Hardware / Operating System
- PC with Windows NT 4.0 / 2000 / XP or Vista (Pentium processor with 1 GB RAM recommended)
- No support is offered for other hardware and systems (Macintosh, UNIX, Linux etc)
Connection
Fastest possible internet connection (ISDN/cable modem/ADSL/dedicated line, etc.) means stable data exchange.
Browsers
- Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher or Firefox 3.0.10
- Installation Java Plugin version 1.5.0_10 or higher (free available)
- Integrated 128-bit SSL encryption software (latest version)
Browser Settings
Java applets must be enabled in the browser for the Forex Trading services URL. The Forex Trading applets will neither read nor write client data onto or from the hard drive.
