Payout Options
You may withdraw your vested benefit capital for certain reasons, which are regulated by law.
Retirement
When you reach normal AHV retirement age.
Advance/deferred withdrawal
No more than five years before or after reaching the normal AHV retirement age.
Disability
When you draw a full disability pension from the state (AHV/AVS) disability insurance scheme.
Emigrating
If you leave Switzerland permanently (emigration). If the insured will be subject to mandatory insurance against the risks of old age, death and disability under the law of an EU or EFTA member state, they can only withdraw the extra-mandatory BVG/LPP assets.
Becoming self-employed
If you are working on a self-employed basis.
Death
In the event of death, the retirement assets are transferred to the beneficiaries. Within the confines laid down by law, you may nominate these individuals yourself.
