My Profile

How can I use the settings to customize my own pages in Direct Net?

Under "My Profile" you can find the two areas "General Options" and "Area Options" that allow you to personalize Direct Net.

"General Options"

Define start page:

This allows you to determine which page is shown directly following the login.

Pending Tasks:

This allows you to specify the default settings to be shown immediately after login:

  • Payment orders to be approved after login
  • Tele DTA files to be approved
  • Electronic bills to be processed
  • Corporate Actions to be processed

Please always note the individual "Info" links as well in Direct Net. Please always remember to save your personal default settings.

Language:

You can choose your preferred language for Direct Net.

Change Password:

You can change your existing password. However, if you have forgotten your password or there is an error, please contact the Direct Net hotline.

Modify "My Links":

By defining links, you can gain quick access to your preferred service areas in Direct Net. The defined links (a maximum of 10 are possible) can be added to, removed, modified and re-organized with just a few clicks.
Once your links list has been activated, it appears at the top of your main navigation and you can arrive at the screens you require even more quickly.

E-mail address / mobile phone number:

Here you can choose:

  • specify up to 6 threshold limits (3 upper and 3 lower limits) for each security to receive an e-mail and/or SMS notification if a price breaks through a limit.
  • opt to receive free of charge via e-mail and/or SMS up to 4 times a day an update on your Virtual Portfolio or Watchlist.

Layout:

This provides the option to set your Direct Net view to show links grouped together or keep the default view.

Accessibility

This setting can be used to determine how error messages are displayed. Select "No" to display error messages on the corresponding browser page. Select "Yes" to receive the error message as a system report in a separate window. You can increase the contrast in order to improve readability. Activate the checkbox "High".

Area Options

Default account settings:

Default account: This option allows you to choose the account that is displayed when an account details page (e.g. bookings) is called up. 

Preferred balance: The balance selected here will be displayed at the top of the account details pages. It is also used to calculate the estimated balance. 

Default safekeeping account settings:

Accounts: Default safekeeping account: With this option you can choose the safekeeping account to be displayed first when calling up the Sakekeeping Accounts page in the Accounts and Assets area. 

Default settings for Assets:
Valuation currency: For the General Overview page you have the option of recalculating the market value in a currency other than CHF
