What is a limit order?
A price specified by the client for the sale or purchase of securities, which the sale or purchase amount cannot exceed or fall below respectively.
Can stock market orders for investment funds be entered with a limit?
It is possible to enter a limit for investment funds that are processed in the secondary market (trading on a stock exchange). It is not possible to enter a limit for investment funds that in the primary market (trading in connection with a new issue, or issuance/redemptions).
What does a stock market order cost?
The cost of a stock market order varies according to volume, stock exchange and type of security. You will find an overview of prices via the link below.
Which order types are possible with Direct Net?
You can use Direct Net to place the following types of order, which vary according to the instrument type and stock market:
- At market
- Limit
- Stop loss
- Stop limit
- On stop
What do the different order types mean?
Market order
A market order is executed at the best bid or ask price available on the order book at the time of entry.
Limit Order:
A price specified by the client for the sale or purchase of securities.
On stop order
Buy order conditional upon reaching a trigger price at which point before being executed. If the trigger price is reached, the order becomes a market order and is executed at the next best price.
Stop loss order
A stop loss order is a limited sell order. If the trigger price is reached, the order is converted into a market order and executed at the next best price.
Stop limit order
If the trigger price is reached, the order becomes a normal limit order.
Until when can I enter an order for investment funds in
the primary market?
Every fund has its own daily cut-off time for receipt of orders. This deadline varies according to the market and order processing. The latest order entry times are shown under "Buy & Sell" in Fund Lab.
Can stock market orders for investment funds be entered with a limit?
It is possible to enter a limit for investment funds that are processed in the secondary market (trading on a stock exchange). It is not possible to enter a limit for investment funds that in the primary market (trading in connection with a new issue, or issuance/redemptions).
Can a primary market order for funds be canceled?
No, such an order can no longer be canceled via Direct Net.
Is it possible to subscribe to new issues through Direct Net?
At the moment, there is no option for subscribing to new issues in Direct Net.
Which instrument types can be traded through Direct Net?
The following instruments can be traded via Direct Net:
- Equities
- Bonds
- Warrants
- Investment Funds
- Call and put options
- Rigths
What is a mistrade?
Pursuant to SWX directive 15, a stock exchange may declare an executed trade null and void.
The SWX may cancel a trade that has been executed if the price of the deal resulting from the trade deviated significantly from the market price, or the market conditions were not orderly and fair. Such a trade is referred to as a mistrade.
