Along with debit and credit cards and cash in foreign currencies, the new Travel Cash card and travelers checks are among the most popular and safest means of payment for travelers.
Travel Cash
Load a specific amount of money onto your Travel Cash card as you would for any other prepaid card. Withdraw cash conveniently at ATMs around the world, or make cash-free payments in stores, at hotels or gas stations. In the event of loss or theft, your Travel Cash card will be replaced free of charge worldwide. Travel Cash is only available to clients domiciled in Switzerland or Liechtenstein.
Travelers Checks
You can use travelers checks worldwide to obtain cash in the local currency from banks and exchange offices, and to pay for goods and services directly. Credit Suisse offers Travelers Cheques in USD and EUR.
