Our Advisory Process
Steps to a personalized solution.
Systematic handling of your assets is only possible if you make all decisions based on in-depth expertise. It is not only the assets themselves that are crucially important:. The values that matter to you personally also play a significant role in the management of your finances. That is why we at Credit Suisse spend a lot of time getting to know you and your needs thoroughly.
In a personal consultation, we will find out where your priorities lie before continuing to advise you as part of a step-by-step process. This enables us to respond carefully to your suggestions at all times – as well as address your special requests.
Step 1: Needs analysis
Your needs and objectives are the focus of the professional advice provided by your personal Relationship Manager. The Relationship Manager will systematically assess your personal and financial situation with you. A comprehensive illustration will be produced for the following four areas in particular: investments, asset accumulation, liabilities, and asset attrition. Your Relationship Manager will then use this as the basis for analyzing your individual situation in order to draw up a comprehensive investment concept. If necessary, depending on your needs and the complexity of your situation, your Relationship Manager will call on additional Credit Suisse specialists, such as financial planners, tax advisors, or inheritance consultants.
Step 2: Financial concept
Based on the results of the needs analysis, we work with you to create your personal financial concept. Its purpose is to finance specific plans and to provide liquidity for obligations due in the foreseeable future.
Step 3: Client profile
After analyzing your needs in detail and developing your individual financial concept, we work with you to define your client risk profile. As part of a risk analysis, you and your Relationship Manager will discuss your personal willingness to take risks, and your financial ability to bear them. The resulting risk profile forms the basis for your customized investment strategy. We can offer advice in various forms depending on how actively you want to be involved in the individual investment decisions. Your Relationship Manager will help you to select the option that best suits you.
Step 4: Strategy
Based on your investment goals and risk profile, your Relationship Manager will show you possible strategies and advise you on the choice and configuration in relation to your personal needs. The strategy forms the basis for portfolio management and for working out an individual (investment) solution. For this purpose, your Relationship Manager can access professional systems to analyze potential risks that may arise from the selected portfolio strategy.
Step 5: Implementation
Once the investment strategy has been determined, your portfolio can be assembled. Depending on the form of advice selected earlier in the process, the structuring of your portfolio will be delegated to the bank's specialists or will be developed with your Relationship Manager. Here the key factors are continuously maintaining your investments and regularly checking the strategy selected. This ensures an appropriate response to market developments and changes in your personal circumstances.
