Strategy

A pension fund's long-term asset allocation is determined by its investment strategy. Both the pension fund's objective risk tolerance and the subjective willingness of the board of trustees to accept risk are taken into consideration. This is based on an asset and liability analysis, combined with the board of trustees' knowledge of key connections in the investment area.

Depending on the customer's needs, the following measures are taken:

  • The definition of an investment strategy on the basis of an asset and liability analysis
  • The drawing up of guidelines for mandates in order to implement the investment strategy
  • The organisation of training courses for the pension fund's board of trustees and management board
