Training Program

The perfect opportunity for dedicated, talented individuals such as yourself to get into this up-and-coming sector, equipping you for a successful career as a mainframe expert.

A Recognized Qualification

The Credit Suisse Software Engineering Mainframe Training Program will prepare you, step by step, for the demanding role of a software engineer. Lasting approximately 12 months, the program offers specific training in the form of on-the-job and off-the-job study blocks. Here, you will learn about structured programming (PL1) and relational database management systems (DB2). Software design is another key element of the training program, and will form a major part of your future role. On completion of the training program, you will undertake a work placement lasting approximately 18 months, at the end of which you will receive a recognized qualification.

We are now looking for motivated university graduates (or equivalent) with a degree in IT, science or engineering, strong conceptual and analytical skills, and a flair for IT.
