Private Client Advisor Training Program

Your Path to an Exciting Career in Finance.

The private client advisor training program offers finance-oriented advisory talents the opportunity to train for 12 months to become a Private Clients Advisor with their own portfolio.

The private client advisor training program is geared toward approachable and extroverted individuals with a distinct advisory flair. To be eligible for participation in the program you must have completed an apprenticeship, financial internship or high school diploma and, in particular, you must have a few years’ professional experience in a bank, insurance company, fiduciary company or similar.

In the workplace, participants are gradually prepared by their trainers to take on the demanding role of private client advisor. This training not only provides participants with an introduction to various applications, processes and products but also shows them how to advise and deal with clients. Brief internships spent in related specialist areas complete the program.

At the same time you will also undertake GTTRM (Global Train to Relationship Manager) training, which involves a 12-18 month period of on- and off-the-job training in specific target areas. Participants are evaluated at the beginning of the program in order to identify their specific training requirements. Each participant then completes his/her own individual training program. Successful completion of the GTTRM program is a prerequisite for working as a private client advisor at Credit Suisse.
