Mumbai is home to two buildings - the Ceejay House office established in 2006 and Citypark which opened in 2009 for support functions. Credit Suisse's CoE in Mumbai was established in November 2009 and is located in the Citypark building in the suburb of Powai. It employs over 400 staff who provides provide high-end quantitative and risk analytics support for Credit Suisse’s businesses globally.

Credit Suisse provides investment banking, securities services, wealth management and asset management to Indian corporates as well as to multi-national companies looking to build their presence in the Indian market. We also have two Centers of Excellence in Mumbai and Pune that provide critical support to business units across the bank globally. We offer the following products and services in India:
Investment Banking
Credit Suisse commenced its agency securities brokerage operation in India in 2007 and has since become one of the most active brokers, acting as a link between India and the international investment community.
We provide equity research on more than 100 Indian companies and our highly-ranked research team has built a reputation for accuracy, insight and outstanding ideas generation among investors. The bank was also among the first brokers to introduce Direct Market Access (DMA) electronic trading in India in 2008 and launched algorithmic trading for Indian stocks in 2009. With the approval of Credit Suisse’s application to establish a bank branch, we will soon be able to offer clients foreign exchange and a greater range of fixed income products as well.
The bank is also active in equity and debt capital markets, mergers and acquisitions and structured finance. We provide complete support for cross-border transactions, and have experience in developing innovative structures and new products to meet clients’ needs in India’s rapidly-changing environment.
Wealth Management
Our Wealth Management business in Mumbai allows us to deliver integrated banking services to one of the fastest growing wealth management markets globally. By the end of 2012, we aim to be among the top three wealth management advisers in India.
Asset Management
Credit Suisse’s Multi-Asset Class Solutions team works closely with our Wealth Management team to offer a wide range of investment products across fixed income and equities to high-net-worth individuals and institutions.
India Bank Branch
The recent approval of our application to establish a bank branch in Mumbai represents a landmark in Credit Suisse’s expansion in India, enabling us to substantially expand the range of services we offer. The Mumbai bank branch will accept deposits and use its balance sheet to provide financing to clients, complementing the capabilities of Credit Suisse’s Non-Bank Financial Company in India. The license also permits the Bank to deal in Indian Government securities, other domestic fixed income products and foreign exchange.

Internships
Internships, lasting ten weeks to six months, are available for students in their penultimate or final year of study in both Management (Finance) and Engineering. Successful completion of the internship may lead to a full-time position after graduation.
