Tomas Otterud
Tomas is a Managing Director of the Real Estate Customized Fund Investment Group within Credit Suisse’s Asset Management business. Prior to joining Credit Suisse, Tomas co-founded the indirect investment management business of Aberdeen Property Investors where he was Deputy Managing Director and Fund Manager of European Fund of Funds (AIPP and AIPP II). Tomas was a member of AIPP’s Investment Committees, a board member of the Management Companies and the key account manager of the international investment program for two mutual pension insurance companies.
Before joining Aberdeen Property Investors, Tomas was the assistant fund manager of one of PRICOA’s (Prudential Financial) Pan-European property funds. Prior to that, he was an investment surveyor at Cushman & Wakefield Healey & Baker in Stockholm with responsibility for direct investment transactions and valuations. Tomas started his career with the listed Swedish property developer JM in 1996.
Tomas is a graduate of Sweden’s Royal Institute of Technology and also holds a Master’s degree from City University (Cass) Business School in London.
