Salvatore Cordaro, CFA, CAIA
Salvatore Cordaro, CFA, CAIA is a Director within Credit Suisse’s Asset Management business and is the head of Institutional Mandates for EAFE within the Alpha Strategies group. In this role, Mr. Cordaro is responsible for the construction, management and advisory on institutional portfolios for the EAFE region.
Prior to this role, Mr. Cordaro served as the Deputy Head of Multi-Manager Portfolios (MMP), based in Zürich. Mr. Cordaro was also head of the Multi-strategy Portfolio Management team overseeing hedge funds investments of approximately 10 billion USD. Mr. Cordaro also served as Head of Manager Selection & Strategy Analysis in the Alternative Investments & Mutual Funds Team, and Deputy Head of Hedge Fund Research and Selection in MMP. Prior to joining Credit Suisse in 2004, Mr. Cordaro served as Head of Hedge Fund Research with BSI SA (Generali Group). Previously, Mr. Cordaro served as a Treasurer with Merloni Ariston International SA.
Mr. Cordaro earned a M.D. in Economics and Business Law from Bocconi University – Milan in 1998 with highest honours. Mr. Cordaro is a CFA and CAIA Charterholder.
