Michael McGhee
Michael McGhee is a Managing Director of Credit Suisse in the Investment Banking division, based in London. Mr. McGhee is Head of the Global Transportation and Logistics Group and Co-Head of Global Industrial and Services in Europe, part of the Investment Banking department. He is a member of the Strategic Advisory Group in Europe (SAGE), a group of senior investment bankers who are focused on leading existing and developing new key client relationships across Europe, as well as mentoring bankers across the Investment Banking department.
Mr. McGhee joined Credit Suisse First Boston in 1998. Prior to this he was a Managing Director and Head of Transport at BZW.
Mr. McGhee has advised on several transport and logistics transactions in Europe, the Americas, Asia, Africa and Australia. In particular, Mr. McGhee has worked on over 30 government airport privatisation mandates, including the privatisation of the Australian airports system and most recently Budapest Airport. He advised the UK Government on the world's first public private partnership in the air traffic control sector.
Mr. McGhee received his B.A. in Economics from the University of Manchester.
