Mr. Sobic, is a Director in Credit Suisse’s Asset Management business and joined Credit Suisse Zurich in July 2000. This activity triggered several hundred million of dollars in hedge fund flows and allowed Marko Sobic to build a worldwide network in the global hedge fund community. After the decision to streamline all Credit Suisse hedge fund activities under one department, Mr. Sobic moved in 2002 to the global manager selection group. Initially he was involved in all aspects of hedge fund investing ranging from advisory related activities to manager selection and portfolio management work. In 2004, Marko focused exclusively on manager selection work in the global relative value/arbitrage sector, which encompassed most non-directional hedge fund strategies across all asset classes. In 2005 Mr. Sobic was promoted to deputy sector head for event driven strategies responsible for all European investments. In 2006 he was promoted to sector head assuming responsibility for all event driven investments globally.
