Lewis H. Wirshba
Managing Director
Lewis H. Wirshba is a Managing Director of Credit Suisse and Chief Operating Officer for the Americas, based in New York. He is a member of the Americas CEO Management Committee and Chairman of the Americas COO Management Committee as well as a Board Member of CS (USA), Inc. Mr. Wirshba also serves on the Credit Suisse Americas Foundation Board and as Ambassador responsible for the Bank's relationship with Cornell University and Baruch College of CUNY.
Mr. Wirshba joined the Bank as an Assistant Vice President in 1986. Prior to joining the financial services industry, he worked at General Motors. His positions prior to COO for the Americas were CSFB's Global Treasurer from 1997 to 2005 and head of the Bank's Financial Performance Management, New Business, Planning and Analysis and Regional Oversight Americas groups from 2000 to 2005.
Mr. Wirshba received his B.A. in History and Economics from Cornell University in 1978 and his M.B.A. in Finance from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1980.
