Gerhard Fusenig
Managing Director
Gerhard Fusenig is a Managing Director of Credit Suisse in the Asset Management division, based in Zurich. He is Head of Multi Asset Class Solutions (MACS), Equities and Fixed Income as well as Head of Asset Management Switzerland. He is a member of the Asset Management Management Committee and the Credit Suisse Regional Management Board Switzerland. Prior to this, he was Co-COO of Asset Management as well as Head of Asset Management EMEA.
Mr. Fusenig joined Credit Suisse in December 2008 from UBS Global Asset Management, where he was Global Head of Fund Services and a member of the Executive Committee. Between 1999 and 2008, Mr. Fusenig held various positions at UBS including Head of Institutional Business Development, COO in Germany and Head of Technology, Portfolio Services and Fund Operations for the EMEA region. He has over eight years direct investment- and portfolio management experience. He started his business career as Quantitative Analyst and Equity Portfolio Manager in 1990 at Schröder Münchmeyer Hengst & Co, followed by roles as Head of the Private Banking Mandates at Landesbank Hessen-Thüringen and Head of Strategic Business Development at Dresdner Asset Management.
Mr. Fusenig holds a diploma in Mathematics and Finance from the University of Trier, Germany.
