Daniel Brupbacher
Managing Director
Daniel Brupbacher is a Managing Director of Credit Suisse Asset Management division, based in Zurich. He is Regional Head of Asset Management Switzerland, Head of the Multi Asset Class Solutions (MACS) business and is a member of the division's Management Committee. He is also a member of the Investment Committee.
Mr. Brupbacher joined Credit Suisse Private Bank in October 1999 from Bank J. Vontobel & Co.
AG, where he was a member of senior management and Head of Investment Banking in Europe, and was on the board of Vontobel Securities AG, Frankfurt. Prior to that, Mr. Brupbacher worked at UBS in Zurich, New York and Chicago as a securities trader.
Daniel Brupbacher serves as a member of the board of Credit Suisse Asset Management KAG, Frankfurt, Credit Suisse Asset Management Funds, Zurich, as well as president of Credit Suisse Anlagestiftung, Zurich, and as a member of the Index Commission of the SIX Swiss Exchange, Zurich. Since 1 January 2009 he is Member of the Supervisory Board of PKO Investment Fund Company (PKO Towarzystwo Funduszy Inwestycyjnych SA), Warsaw/Poland.
Mr. Brupbacher holds a Masters of Arts in Economics from the State College of Commerce in Zurich. In 1991 he graduated from the Swiss Banking School. His degree dissertation "Securities trading in Switzerland" has been published. Additionally he holds a Master of Advanced Studies in Philosophy & Management from University Lucerne.
