Charles Harper
Charles Harper is a Managing Director of Credit Suisse in the Asset Management division, based in New York. He is a partner at DLJ Investment Partners, the Bank's mezzanine fund, responsible for originating new investments and monitoring existing investments.
Mr. Harper joined Credit Suisse First Boston in November 2000 through the merger with Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, where he was a Vice President in the merchant banking division. From 1997-1999, Mr. Harper was a member of the Investment Banking division of DLJ, specializing in high yield debt and equity underwriting, M&A advisory and restructuring activity for a variety of industries. Prior to DLJ, Mr. Harper worked as a Vice President in the Leveraged Finance Group of First Chicago focusing on the structuring and execution of LBO financings for financial sponsors and corporate clients in a broad range of industries.
Mr. Harper is a board observer at United Site Services, Harlan Sprague Dawley, Neff Rentals, Inc. and Caribbean Restaurants, LLC. He was a previous board observer of CB Richard Ellis, Inc.
Mr. Harper holds an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and a B.S. in Finance from the University of Illinois.
