Boris Arabadjiev, Ph.D., Managing Director is the Global Head and CIO of Alpha Strategies and is based in New York. Mr. Arabadjiev was appointed Chief Operational Officer of Liquid Alternatives in March 2007 and Head of Alpha Strategies in September 2007 within Liquid Alternatives. Prior to this role Mr. Arabadjiev was the Head of Risk with the HFI group within Alternative Investments. Prior to joining the Fund-Linked Products group at Credit-Suisse in 2001, Mr. Arabadjiev worked at Barra in Berkeley, California and London. While in London, he was responsible for business development of Barra’s cross-asset classes risk product in Europe. Prior to transferring to London, he was a consultant managing Barra's relations with large asset managers throughout the western United States. Mr. Arabadjiev received a B.A./B.Sc. in Mathematics and Economics from West Virginia Wesleyan College and a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Southern California.
