Bill Rogers
Mr. Rogers is a Managing Director of Hudson, located in the European office in London. Formerly, Mr. Rogers was a Director at Candover Partners (“Candover”), a leading private equity firm with offices across Europe and over €5 billion under management. While at Candover, Mr. Rogers developed and led the Clean Energy and Power team, originating and leading due diligence teams across wind, solar, carbon and other sub-sectors in Europe and Asia. In addition, he executed six buyouts (valued between $200 million and £2.1 billion) and served on the board of two of these companies. Prior to working at Candover, Mr. Rogers was an Associate Principal at McKinsey & Company, an international management consulting firm. He provided strategic advice and diligence support on nine transactions for leading private equity funds and major multinationals in the Energy and Financial Services sectors, among others (valued between $65 million and £67 billion). His experience also includes two years of private equity investing with Vesta Group. As a member of the senior management team, Mr. Rogers helped grow the business by raising over €50 million in capital and developing a portfolio of 11 investments. Mr. Rogers is a British citizen and holds a Master of Engineering from Cambridge University.
